A Human Deluge in the Square of the Seventies on the third anniversary of the Yemeni resistance against the Saudi-led coalition’s war

Sanaa Square, the largest square in the capital Sanaa, witnessed on Monday morning, a major rally to commemorate the three years  of steadfastness against the Saudi-led coalition ‘s war against Yemen

President Saleh al-Samad, elected by the Representative parliament, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of Parliament, a number of ministers, members of the Representative Parliament, and  military leaders and social figures were the first participants in the event

 

The participants in the march, which filled the square of the seventy and the surrounding streets, rosed flags of the Republic of Yemen, banners, and slogans of the occasion, pictures of the leader of the revolution Sayyad. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Huthi, and pictures of the Yemeni joint forces’ who were killed in battlefronts while comforting Saudi-led coalition and its paid fighters

The central event began with verses from the Holy Quran and Republican Peace, while a number of speeches, poetic poems, hymns and a number of popular folk dances followed

 

The President of the Supreme Political Council, Mr. Saleh Al-Samad thanked the Yemeni people for the honorable attendance that reflects the steadfastness of the Yemeni people

 

He also praised the Yemeni joint forces, the missile, naval and air force, by saying they are formulating a historical epic in the face of aggressionSaudi-led coalition’s war, as well as the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their beloved ones to defend the sovereignty of the nation and the dignity of Yemeni people

He stressed that the Americans are running the war on Yemen and participate directly in a number of fronts, noting that the attitude of the US Senate proves that the war is American from the first shot and appreciated all just attitudes against the decision of the Senate and foreign parliaments which are against the Saudi-led coalition’s war


AL-Samad announced the launch of the state-building project at all levels under the slogan of a hand protects and another builds, pointing out that the battle of the people today is a battle for the restoration of sovereignty and depends on defense and construction.

He also pointed out that the suffering of Yemeni people will not be borne by another people and will require a great effort eliminate it from the Yemeni people.

 


He called on the countries of the coalition to benefit from the opportunity and go towards a just peace, expressing his readiness for a solution leading to stop the war and lift the siege. He also called on local forces involved in the war to return to the right path of resolving on all problems.

He sent a letter to the new UN envoy to Yemen that he must understand the reasons for his predecessor’s failure.

He stressed that the only option of the Yemeni people is to strengthen the factors of steadfastness and to support the fronts to reach a decision and victory, pointing to the need to activate the institutions of the state to meet the challenges.

He pointed out that the messages of the missile force are a message of peace,  If you want peace, you have to hold a gun, whereas  the coming  days is promising to get improved in terms of  all the tracks, addressing the forces of coalition :” if you Stop your raids, we will stop our missiles.”

Then the poet, Mu’adh al-Junaid, gave a poetic poem in which he praised the freedom and steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of coalition’s war and siege and pointed to the coalition’s crimes against the Yemeni people.

The event concluded with the national anthem.
