Drug Control: US-Saudi Aggression Allows the Flow of Drugs into Yemen

Yamanyoon

The General Director of Drug Control Brigadier Majid al-Qayafi said on Tuesday that the Saudi-led aggression seeks to flood the Yemeni provinces with drugs, stressing that the Saudi-UAE coalition is allowing the entry of large quantities of drugs across the Yemeni coasts and provide easiness to drug dealers to enter into our country.

Brigadier General Al-Qaifi said in a press statement to the Security Information Center that the spread of drugs and trafficking in public in the occupied provinces is one of the evidence that shows the aggression’s objectives and malicious intentions against the Yemeni people, pointing out that the countries of aggression used drugs as a weapon in its war against the Yemeni people.

It was reported that the security forces had managed to seize a new and rare type of drug that was not known before and know to have disastrous effects on society, one of the most dangerous types of drugs, called (Methamphetamine) which looks like a transparent sugar-like white powder.

Meth is a powerfully addictive stimulant that causes a rapid decline in the physical and mental health of the user.

Moreover, the general director urged the security forces to be precise during the searches and to be very vigilant, because the security information confirms that the Saudi-led aggression has been allowing the entry of large quantities of drugs to Yemen.

In the same context, the people of Yemen stressed the need to cooperate with the General Administration for Combating Drugs and all security units in combating and thwarting all schemes that target Yemenis and their society in general.
