Yemenis march in Sana’a calling the international community to do their responsibility towards the Saudi-led Aggression on Yemen

Under the slogan “”Lifting the siege and and bringing back Yemenis stranded abroad is an international responsibility””, thousands of Yemenis marched yesterday in Sana’a calling the international community to do their responsibility towards the aggression and siege imposed on Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition.

The Saudi-led Aggression and the imposed siege has created a deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen as a result of the embargo put on food, medical and fuel supplies from entering Yemen. The siege has also prevented thousands of Yemenis from returning home to their families.

According to the UN, some 1,820 people have been killed and 7,330 injured since the current events unfolded in Yemen in March 19 (when two mosques (Al-Hashhoush and Badr) in Sana’a were bombed killing 137 people and wounding more than 300 people) and until today. Most of the casualties happened as a result of the Saudi-led Aggression on Yemen, which began on March 26. This is in addition to the UN estimate that more than 545,000 people have been displaced since the Aggression began.
