Abdulsalam Comments on Diplomatic Exchange again between Sana’a and Tehran

The head of the National Delegation, Mohammad Abdulsalam, commented on Sunday that the new Yemeni ambassador, Ibrahim Al-Dailami, presented his credentials to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stressing that this is an official recognition that cuts speculation and analysis of Iran’s position on the legitimacy of the Supreme Political Council and the government of the Salvation.

Abdulsalam said on a Telegram that “Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif received credentials of Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Dailami, Yemen’s New Ambassador to Tehran.” He thanked Iran for its support of Yemen, its people, unity and independence.

The ambassador, on Saturday, was sworn in before President Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, via satellites. After taking the oath, President Al-Mashat sent with Ambassador Daylami his greetings to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Al-Mashat expressed hope that the opening of an embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Iran will be the beginning of the rest of the world to reopen its embassies in the capital Sana’a.
