Since March 26, 2015, Saudi-led aggression warplanes have launched thousands of air strikes on Yemen, most of which have resulted in killing and wounding thousands of civilians, including children and women. Now, this is being done again in the 43-month-old war on the coastal city of Hodeidah by the Saudi-UAE aggressive forces.
Air raids by the Saudi aggression were carried out in 20 Yemeni governorates since the beginning of the Saudi war on Yemen, where most of the deadly airstrikes were in Saada and Hajjah governorates, as well as many other cities. Crimes in Yemen are committed on daily basis and are still being carried out, latest of which was in Saada and Amran provinces, where dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed by the Saudi bombardment. The same thing is now being achieved in an assault by the coalition on Hodeidah, where aerial, naval bombardment target streets, villages, farms, hospitals and public colleges within the districts of Hodeidah city. One of the most prominent crimes was the US-backed Saudi jets launched a missile on a bus for displaced citizens on the main road in Zbied district of al-Hodeidah, victims were mostly children and women, most of them from one single family. The bus was carrying six passengers from one single family.
Saudi airstrikes against oppressed Yemeni citizens are inhumane and considered genocides against Yemenis. The airstrikes were also carried out on al-Thwra Hospital, the operation and the ambulance room. The Saudi-led aggression has violated international humanitarian laws and human rights; however, the UN keeps watching in silence.
According to the latest statistics of the Civil group, the crimes committed by the Saudi aggression since March 2015 until July 2018: killed (60,000 civilians), including (3000 children) and (3000 women) and wounded (40,000), mostly women and children.
In the province of Hodeidah, from 26 March 2015 to June 2018, hundreds of crimes committed by
aerial and naval Saudi bombardment have killed 1326 people and wounded 1214 others, most are women and children.
