Yamanyoon

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Youssef al-Harrethi, declared on Monday, the death of 27 thousand patients who needed to travel abroad for treatment since the closure of Sana’a International Airport for more than two years.

The spokesman of the ministry in a telephone conversation with the Arabic channel, ”al-Masirah” said that there are about 200 thousand humanitarian cases of patients and wounded who are in need of treatment abroad, but the Saudi aggression forced the closure of Sana’a International Airport.

He pointed out that there are statistics indicating the death of between 25 – 30 people a day as a result of the deterioration of the general health situation under the closure of Sana’a International Airport.

The US-Saudi aggression has imposed a complete closure of land and seaports on Yemen for more than two years, as well as a military campaign and an economic war on the country since March 2015, which has caused the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the United Nations.
