Armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said on Tuesday that the air force carried out a large-scale attack on the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with a number of Qasef 2K drones.
Brigadier Saree said that the operation targeted the military communications system and warplanes hangars and the hit was accurate.
He added that this targeting comes in response to the crimes of aggression and the ongoing siege and raids, which amounted during the past 12 hours to 40 airstrikes.
It is worth mentioning that the air force carried out last Monday several attacks with a number of Qasef 2K drones, which targeted warplanes hangars at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait.
Moreover, Saree stressed that the Yemeni air force intensified its attacks on the King Khalid Air Base during the last hours in order to eliminate the airbase from service and paralyze it as it is one of the most important bases used by the Saudi regime as a starting point for its hostile operations against the people of Yemen.
