Yemeni political source said , on Monday, the UN envoy to Yemen, will visit the Omani capital, Muscat, in order to resume consultations and agreement on a humanitarian truce for 3 days, extendable.

The source expected, according to “Sputnik”, to be announced humanitarian truce in Yemen, beginning next October, set at 72 hours, turn into a lasting truce in the absence of crack.

The source explained that the fugitive Hadi government in Riyadh had agreed to a truce, waiting for the UN envoy, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the delegation informed the Yemeni negotiations in Muscat so, before proceeding with implementation

The source added that “if all parties agreed to a truce, and was installed on the ground, there are hopes for the resumption of political consultations in October, too.”
