According to a press release issued by the United Nations Humanitarian Affairs Office in Sana’a, it is estimated that about 10.3 million people are fiercely affected  by the war, and they require immediate humanitarian assistance, including the provision of food, health care, medical services, clean water, sanitation services and protection for survival.

Moreover, the press release pointed out that the humanitarian response plan for 2017 formed to provide assistance to people who suffer from urgent need and to a limited number of people who are threatened by the risk of being in critical need.
